Thanks, Jack and Bruce. I really appreciate your comments.

I posted this image specifically to see what comment I might get,
positive or negative, on the background. This is a grab shot, taken
on a Manhattan street which the woman was approaching me. I caught a
glimpse of her, and thought there could be a good image there.
Because of heavy pedestrian traffic, I had only a split second to
shoot, and I shot from the hip (actually the chest), because I didn't
have time to even bring the camera up to my eye. The image out of
camera was tilted, and there was a piece of someone else's head to the
lower left and a patch of open sky and building reflections in the
upper right corner that were both quite distracting, even to me. As a
result, I couldn't straighten the image as much as I would have liked,
and I had to crop it quite closely around the subject. Still, I had
to clone out a bit o the head in the lower left and do a little
burning in the lower left and a LOT of burning in the upper right in
order to remove the distracting bit. I started three version that I
discarded, before I got this one, which pleased me. I needed to see
from others, however, whether the cropping, cloning and burning was
too obvious and damaged the image.
