Perhaps I should remove more. Or less. I can spend *hours* trying to
decide just that, once I start cropping, so I'm thinking it may be a
better idea to avoid it altogether ;-) In this case I ended up removing
the "empty" bits at the left and right, and letting the aspect ratio
(which I kept) decide how much I could get rid of at the bottom. If you
know what I mean...
