I know that many here hate Pentax Forums, so this may only be of
interest to those who are members and might wish to give a PDML-er a
boost. The prize is a K-3, which I would sure try to make good use of.

This is a weird contest (the rules have seemed to change as we have
gone along). 1st: It isn't really a photo contest. Your initially
entered photo only is used for round 1. Then, those who advanced had
to take a NEW PHOTO (during the Round 2 contest period) for Round 2.
You couldn't use a previously taken photo and your initial Round 1
photo doesn't really help you much anymore. This wasn't clear (at all)
until the Round 2 rules were announced. Initially it said that 64
people were to advance out of Round 1 and then it was expanded to 128.

The top 32 vote getters will advance to the 3rd and final round. No
idea what the rules for that would be. Odds are it will call for yet
another new image to be produced - and if it does I'm probably
screwed. If I get to use ANY image, I plan to use the #1 supercell
image that was the concensus here in my opinion thread the other day,
in round 3, and I may have a chance.

But first, I have to get out of Round 2. My Round 2 entry is #50.

You can vote for up to 4 images. Statistically, you give the most help
to a single photo if you vote for only that one.

(This was the image that got me out of Round 1:

There are a lot of great images in Round 2, and I will consider myself
very fortunate if I get to advance to the final Round 3.
