I've said it before, but if you haven't seen "Exit Through the Gift
Shop" you really need to put it on your "must see" list. I plan to own
it (but keep forgetting to purchase it). It is not only entertaining
and educational but, even more, can lead to some pretty interesting
debates on the nature of "what is art".

That being said, Banksy has become one of the most imitated artists on
the planet. I'm not sure how one can ever know FOR SURE that a work is
truly Banksy's. The interesting thing about a genuine Banksy is that
he has reached such a stature that he (ironically) radically increases
the property value of any property that he "defaces". He has a way of
turning things inside out, that I think makes him

I think he would have to make just about any short list of today's
greatest living artists.
