Ah yes, back in the good old days, long ago and far away. Darren, I don't believe Ricoh has this philosophy either. I will be more than happy to change my opinion when I start to see production of some of those lens that only 37 per year will be bought. A DA* 400-600 WR? DA*200/4 WR Macro? A DA*135/2.8 WR Macro? A DA 10/3.5? The release of the 560 last year was an encouraging sign as was the broadening of the availability of lenses for 645D bodies. But most releases in the last several years have been very predictable mass market oriented designs.
