The Unicorn was displayed on top of a car:

As I indicated, this was displayed in the Toyota area of the vender's
midway.  This particular pink unicorn is currently featured  in a TV
ad for Toyota;  sn indulgent father is seen driving home with the
unicorn atop his car.  He says that any father will understand what he
is doing with this enormous stuffed toy, but he also wonders where it
can be kept in their house.

The purpose of the pink unicorn is to draw young girls to see it, so
that the sales staff can give their parents information on the latest
offers on Toyota cars.
