Actually, the dark and colorful structure is part of the same balloon
as the gondola and the propane fire.  It is the Hummingbird balloon
that I featured in an earlier PESO, and quite large and elaborate.
They did get it off the ground, but it didn't fly very far from the
launch site, because of the size and complexity.
