Thanks Ann, Dan, Bob et al. My first time on Mackinac was a couple of years ago. Then we were with one of Meg's cousin and her husband; they regularly bike for exercise. We took our bikes and together we were able to do quite a bit of exploration despite the fact that Meg and I were somewhat (!) out of cycling shape. This time the accompanying cousin and her husband were a) not cyclists, and b) not able to walk long distances. Which limited their ability to really see the island. The shots from the Fort, for example, were done when I went off on my own while the cousin went shopping and the husband sat and read the NY Times. it is a fun place but it does require a fair degree of physical stamina.
And Ann, I am really pleased with the Crane shot. You may well see that again on my annual "best of" list. stan On Aug 3, 2014, at 10:52 PM, Ann Sanfedele <[email protected]> wrote: > Me too > Especially your bridge shot and the lovely sandhill crane in the bullrushes. > > ann > > On 8/3/2014 18:50, Daniel J.
