How about the Pentax AF140C? It can fire off 4 tubes in groups of two (right, left or both) so that you can avoid flat lighting (unless you want flat lighting which it will do when both sets are fired). It is analog TTL so it's compatible with the LX (I'm not sure if it'll work with the PZ1p but I think it should). It comes with 49,52,and 58mm rings and you can get a 58-62 step down (vignetting may be a problem).
