Well, it ~is~ the ~Pentax~ Discussion Mailing List... Right?
/////// Off course, It's about Pentax equipment, but also about what you do
with this pieces of metal, plastic and glass, it is, to take photographs

Besides, Albano, it seems as if ~you~ (maintainer of the "Most Used
Body Survey", the "Favorite Body Survey", the "Favorite Film
Survey", the "Favorite Lens Survey", and the the "Bodies Survey" -
did I miss any?) are "into" equipment a bit yourself - <g>.
/////// Yes, off course. I'm curious about what people like or not, etc,
and I think it's very valuable data wich is based on their experience. I
mean, you wonder how good is the 24mm FA? Take a look and see it's the
favorite lens of the list. I think it says a lot.
And I'm not in equipment in my personal life. I've 2 bodies (probably just
one in the near future) and 5 not overlapping primes.
I do this lists because I find it entertaining and valuable, and help make
my labor's day more sufferable, as is the case with the pdml. I read it in
my free moments at work, as I do the surveys. I like to read about
equipment but it also turns boring and VERY repeating with time. I've
contemplated leaving a lot of times, but for now I stay. It's my main photo
activity right now, as I'm shooting 1 roll of film per month, sometimes
less.
Sorry for the ranting.
AND IN REGARDS TO JULIA:
What I wanted to mean with my message was she is doing very good right now
with basic equipment but good technique, and I guess starting to worry
about gear will take apart the freshness of her photography. Of course I
can be wrong, it's just what I think.
JULIA: KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!!

Regards

Albano
