If I only get one lens, the probability exists that I would want to do some cropping and/or enlarging to some of the images for compositional purposes once I got off the island. If I knew about this in advance, I might be tempted to invest in a 4x5 camera with a lens around 160mm for this purpose. If I have to pick something I have owned, I'd still want the biggest piece of chrome I could possible have, so I would choose a 6x7 with a 90mm LS or perhaps the 75mm. I might try to sneak a short extension tube into the mix, too.
