Thanks, Dan. What caught my eye in the building was the blue-white colour combination, accentuated by the sky and the reflection in the river. The construction was started in 2010, opened in 2012, a new modern building. I can't say anything sure about the architectural style, probably a mix of modern styles.
It's just a few minutes from the city center, definitely not a resort area. The water is the "Crișul Repede" river flowing through the city, it's around 60m wide there. I was standing on a bridge far from the hotel to get it's reflection in the water.
