I was scratching my head about Christine's comment until I looked at the
image(s) then it was "O, duh - she meant a moving one."
way way back when I did my first home page, all the images there were
gifs - from prints I gave a tech-friend to scan for me before I had
any sort of photo editor on my computer. Not anything that would have
been a step up :-)

Creating animated GIFs isn't too difficult. This is a good cookbook approach to
doing it with Photoshop CS5:
