She didn't miss much. Yorkshire people don't have a lot to say.

They have a magnificent flea-pit cinema there. The benefits of annual 
membership include - in fact, are - a complimentary mug of tea.

I know HB quite well - it's where burnt-out Londoners go to die. Things seem to 
have moved on a bit. Last time I was there the only entertainment was a medley 
of Edwardian musical hall hits played on the spoons by an Arthur Askey 
impressionist.
