Colour. B/W doesn't allow one to see the contrast between the dry dunes & the snow capped mountains.

An image from my 2013 trip around the western USA - Great Sand Dunes
National Park near Alamosa, Colorado.

I've always liked the original colour version but I thought it might
look interesting in B&W.  Now I'm not sure which I prefer.
