I think I've seen one, s long time ago, but it included at least one glass element, which given the usual optical quality of optics in 1980's era, inexpensive, well cheep actually, third party camera equipment, I wouldn't expect anything close to decent results.

I had a Soligor convertible 2x TC from that era, not only were the optics bad, but while they were designed to be easily removable so that it could double as a coupled extension tube, it was crap in that configuration as well.

The follower and stop down levers was made of a metal so cheap that that one bend every time it was mounted on a camera and the other bent every time the shutter was released, making it extremely unreliable. That's the kind of quality I'd expect.
