Hehe, arrived in the mail today, I am the proud owner of a Tokina 80-200/2.8
AT-X. This would be the old manual focus type, but it is my first "pro"
caliber zoom lens. I was quite surprised by how light the box was, and
almost asked the delivery man to wait until I had confirmed that the lens
was in fact in the box. Well, it was. I am very pleasantly surprised by how
it feels on the camera, and how it balances in my hand with the pz1p. It was
bought from KEH, and was listed in "bargain" condition; but I think there's
maybe one or two scratches on the body of the lens and no marks on the glass
whatsoever. It is missing the tripod mount, but with a quick call to Tokina
I found out that I can get the requisite parts for about $15 plus shipping.
I have not developed any of the film shot with it just yet, but would be
happy to post some examples later for anyone interested.
