My recent PESOs of the red roses from the benefit gala was really a
learning exercise.

I have had the 35mm f2.8 macro limited for a couple of months, but I
have used it almost exclusively outdoors and most often hand held. I
wanted to practice using it as a macro near its minimum focus length
and indoors on a tripod or stand.

To do this, I pulled out something I had not used for quite a while, a
compact kit call a "Deluxe Tabletop Photo Studio." One of the reasons
I brought it out was that I wanted a nice background, and I remembered
that it had cloth backgrounds in black, white, grey and a blue I
really like (the blue in my first rose PESO).

Since it is quite expensive,l I thought some here might want to see
what it looks like:

It is on sale on one site, even cheaper than when I purchased mine:

It is not the answer to all macro work, but it can be useful in
certain circumstances.

Here are some similar kits on Amazon:

REMEBER, HOWEVER, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON AMAZON.COM
