That's kind of the idea. I regard this blurry, HDR technique as more of a "graphic design" thing than a "photography" thing. Since I teach in the Art & Graphic Design department and we don't have a serious photography emphasis at this school I tend to get students who are interested primarily in the Graphic Design aspect of Photoshop.
