Thanks, Alan and Don. This is a charity even for our local medical center. Ticket are $100 in advance, $200 at the door. Parking spots in the infield for tailgate parties are $650 and up. No official betting, but most groups establish a small betting pool, in our case $1 per race. I lost the 3 races on which I bet; the rest of the day I was too busy visiting other tailgate parties or photographing the horses or the crowd.
