You might get away with including the tree branch if you push it down a bit and 
pull the shears up out of the shadows. The brightness of the one element is a 
bit of a distraction. I’d select the inside of the window box and set levels 
independent of the rest, then click to an inverse selection and set the levels 
for the branch.  A little additional dodging and burning should do the trick. 
Of course if the deep shadows are your intention that won’t help. In that case, 
I would do as others have said and crop out the branch.
