Compared to the earlier ones, this one has colors not so "charming"
(for lack of a better word).

I wonder how much of this impression is due to the character of the light
and how much to the character of the film.

Are you sure it is related more to the vagaries of scanning this
particular film?

(Still a very nice image, by the way).
