Several people said that they had been using Yosemite for quite some time, that it worked quite well, and the new version of safari is wonderfully fast.

Yes, the new version of safari, is nicely peppy. I'm fine with the simpler pictograms, and in general I haven't had much problems with Yosemite. However, one thing that is incredibly annoying is that every time I insert an SD card to load photos into Lightroom, it automatically opens iPhoto.

I did some research and it said that under iPhoto preferences, set the action on "when camera is connected" to "Open no application". Of course, iPhoto would not even open to allow me to do this, until I updated my iPhoto library to the new version. Bitch, moan, gripe.

I downloaded, upgraded, found that it was already set. Then the next time I inserted an SD card, boom! iPhoto opens up again.

How do I disable this annoying behavior. Even if iPhoto were not possibly the worst program that I've ever had the misfortune of using, I still don't want it to automatically open.
