Many thanks for the replies. The fact there are no rumours of the impending release of a new model, make me happy that I might actually have the current model for a few months. It will be two or three models on until I get another, so I want the current top model now. As the K3 has been out a while, the price has come down a bit which is good news for me, as pointed out. Given the comments about the lens option, I'll hold off on that for now; it's really the body I need.
I'll look about this morning and put an order in for one from a reliable company. At one time I would have supported my local camera shop and paid a little more; alas, there is no longer a local shop to support since my last big purchase.
