The Canon's performance is crummy, but at least the thing is a heavy monster that will impress the crowd!
I played with one in Berlin. My K-5 and DA 16-45 weighed far less than the 7D body alone. The 7D owner had brought several lenses with her to Berlin, but had left all but one in the room because they were too heavy to carry around.
