I have a harmless inherited blood condition which apparently means that our male line, at least, came here from somewhere over there, but it's not clear whether it was with the Saxons or the Vikings. That's why I'll never vote for UKIP - they'd repatriate everyone who hasn't been here since the Ice Age, and I wouldn't know whether to go back to Schleswig-Holstein, Uppsala or Klitmøller.
