This was a member of a small flock of variously marked smallish birds flitting about in a Japanese Maple near the patio. Was a completely overcast, giant soft box day. great lighting, but a little dim, in addition to the background redwoods that slowed the shutter. Hand held DA55~300at300 and ISO of 800 didn't quite do it. Hoping they return today.
