Hi, John, Hey, a Bluenoser on the list!! Woo-hoo! I was just down there a couple of weeks ago. I get down at least twice a year (family down there). We'll have to see if we can get together next time I'm down.
Anyway, you're problem: I don't know anyone down there who can help, but I bring my MX and Spotmatics to Kominek's here in Toronto: http://www.kominek.com/index.html E-mail them and tell them your problem. I'm sure they can let you know if they can help. They're really good at scrounging parts, in my experience. They also answer e-mails fairly quickly, at least they did mine. If they can help, I know it would be a PIA to have to mail it here, but at least it wouldn't cross any borders. Good luck... regards, frank "Bowman, John" wrote: > Hello, > > I recently took my MX to our local Pentax repair centre for repair and was > disappointed to find that they couldn't help me.
