Thanks, all, for commenting! And yes, Rick: we'd almost forgotten what rain was around here. Happily, it has been raining on and off for several days. It will take many more days of it to bring us out of the deficit, but any rain is better than the none at all we were getting.
I do feel for the folks down south who have gotten too much… And mudslides as a consequence.
