There is a TR-power pack that works with the 540.  I have and have used it for 
weddings.  It takes 6 'C' batteries and clips on your belt.  It recycles much 
faster than the 'AA' batteries in the flash.  You can also quick change the C 
batteries when they get low.  It works pretty well.  If you need that sort of 
capability it is worth the money.
