*SIGH*

Last night I was all set up with my 4" telescope, looking at the
really nice clear view of the 1/4 moon. I thought it would be a
wonderful time to try out the LX's low light abilities .. .

. . . so I pull out the LX, slip on the telescope adapter, refocus,
get all set to hit the mirror lockup and shutter release when suddenly I
hear a sound very similar to a pop can coming from the battery
compartment of the telescopes motor. A battery started to leak in
there, and to top it off, I found out that there was no film left in the
LX!

Not a good night for shooting. But, it was a nice night, and I did
get to spend some time outside. Maybe tonight will be better?
