Another excellent image showing a lot of detail. There is a species of
Shoveller in SA but not here (mostly in the Cape). Migratory Northern
Shovellers have occasionally been observed.

This is not a post of one brought down by Winchester model 12, but one using
that outsized beak to feed on the bottom of the preserve.
Considered naming this, "No Survivors."
The weather has me stuck inside, so no telling where my head will go today.
