I really enjoyed that set, Larry. You can actually see the rain on the way down in some of the scenes. And then that bemused dog watching its owner doing a handstand - I could never get it right - & the classic boardwalk.

Subject: Sunset at the cement boat

Obligatory pedantry: Yes, I know that the cement boat is really a
concrete ship.

Driving home this evening, I noticed that we were going to have a
particularly nice sunset. I was also about to reach the exit for an
interesting local landmark where a concrete ship had been run aground
after WWII and used as a pier for many years until it started to break
apart. I got several decent shots, among them:

and

This evening, I noticed several other friends who are local
photographers also posting photos of tonight's sunset. One photographer
at Seacliff beach kept shooting from nearly the same place as I.
However where I was using a K-5 with a Pentax 16-50, he was using a K-5
with the Tamron 17-50.
