This image is the result of using my Tokina AT-X 90mm f2.5 Macro on a decidely non-macro subject this evening. I took several images and stacked them using DeepSkyStacker and then did some more messing in Photoshop with the resulting TIF. I lowered the contrast to pick up the tail (which, unless it is just my wishful thinking/imagination, can be seen all the way back to nearly beneath the Pleiades)! Most of the images were 30 seconds or less at different ISOs and the camera and lens were mounted on a (roughly) polar-aligned Vixen Polarie for tracking during the exposures. -- Life is too short to put up with bad bokeh. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
