Been trying my hand at more extreme macros. Here's another stinkbug,
this one taken yesterday:

That one is at about 2.5 lifesized and was a 70 image focus stack.
Here is a Centipede from earlier this week:

This one is a little less than lifesized and is a 37 image stack. I
found the centipede dead on my porch back in December and it is not in
the best of condition. The stinkbug was fresh and cleaned up better.
Without a doubt, handling and prepping the bugs for this is the greatest
challenge, but I am starting to get the hang of it. Using super glue to
affix them to straight pins has been a breakthrough.
Stinkbug was made with K3, DFA 50mm f2.8 macro, Vivitar Extension tubes
(with contacts) and DFA 360FGZ flash. The Centiped was made with the K3,
A*200mm macro, one tube and the AF360FGZ flash. Both shots using a Kiwi
focusing rail set.
