Thanks, Bruce. This is one of our favorite beaches, although recent storms have carried a lot of the sand out to sea, and it is returning slowly. My wife has taken a similar shot, without the lava rock in the foreground, that is one of her favorite Maui scenes. She uses it for her wallpaper. There is a cable TV show called "Hawaiian Life," where realtors from the company of the same name help people find homes in Hawaii. In the introduction, the owner of the company speaks in front of this same view (again, without the foreground rock).
