I asked a few weeks ago about scanning film, negatives and transparencies, and the Epson came up as a suggestion.
It arrived this morning, and I've taken some scans of some small and fairly poor condition B&W prints, which I hoped could be rescued and much larger pictures printed off. I can only say how impressed I am with what I have so far saved as a TIFF file, and I think after a little work in PS Elements, I'm going to be able to get useful 12" x 8" prints. Now to start on several thousand slides....
