Thanks to all who replied and have helped (and confused!) my decision. I do have one comment. Is it not a *crime* to collect these (or any) lenses and not use them? I weep at the thought that some wonderful glass will be stored behind glass and never used for what it was made for. I couldn't' care less about the cosmetic quality of any lens (or body) I buy - I just thrill at using good quality tools for their intended use.
PLEASE NOTE: I also realise this is just my opinion! :-) Simon -----Original Message----- From: Bob Rapp [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Sunday, 21 April 2002 4:01 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Rare 35mm lenses (was Re: Melbourne lens shopping + Beethoven's Ninth.)
