Bob,
HAR! I was hoping to sneak in an extra "F" unnoticed... Yes, it's only 4
points, but every little bit helps, doesn't it? ;-)
... but some aTTentive oFFicers caught it.
As for those weird words, - I actually wonder if anybody outside Scribble
actually uses them.
While I like occasionally playing various word-games, I always dislike
that the plural form of the words. To me, that's an extra "noise" without
added essence.
Cheers,
Igor

You can use your X to make XI as well. I've annoyed enormous numbers of people
with QI and XI one after the other. Easy ways to make 'cheese'.
PS - no points for 'afficionados'

QAT was in before QI, for instance. all a blur to me now - that is,
when what got into what edition of the OSPD

But I just came across this weird set of words:
48 words to make in SCRABBLE with Q and no U.
Of those I have guessed the meaning of about 10 or so (including the
plural form and variations), but none of those I would had thought to
be
legitimate words.

Enjoy!
