I can't detect any difference between the two (open in side-by-side browser tabs). The only thing that changes (besides the URL) is the title. One has a space between the words and the other doesn't.
That is a VERY striking image, Jack. My only comment would be to look at the histogram of the original file and see if the peaks run off the right side (blown-out highlights). If there is detail there, I would preserve it. It would make a very good image into a great one, IMHO. I like to have the histogram turned on in my Preview image so I can see it right when I chimp the shot. Pentax is thoughtful to also have the ability to turn on the "blinkies" on your LCD to show over-exposed pixels, which can be handy if you don't want to mess with the histogram.
