Looks like a scam to me. I've been getting calls from "Microsoft"
support lately, a heavily accented, usually Indian, voice, identifies as
a member of their support team to report that my computer has been
comprimised with some kind of Malwear, funny how they can do that
through my firewall. Playing along a bit it's like a mind reading act,
they ask suggestive questions and have you look at your error logs,
(which are always full of warnings and errors), the big finish being
when they ask for remote control of your system. When I tell them that
I'm a Microsoft certified professional and didn't make a support
request, they hang up, disappearing faster than a vampire seeing a cross.
