I have the above named version of this lens. The aperture
operates in the same direction as Pentax, and goes to f/16. The
focus is opposite to Pentax.
It is a fairly decent lens, but is a bit flarey, in my
experience.
If you check this link you will find a 138 kb image file that
was shot with the Tokina 17mm.
As you can see, it is not the sharpest at the edges.
I am not sure what aperture was used for this picture.
