PS: The dark spot is likely just some dust on your screen. You should
be able to blow it off. Dust on the mirror generally doesn't show up
so much. If there is dust trapped behind your focusing screen you can
pull it out carefully with some tweezers and blow the dust out. It
just sits in a metal frame. Be careful if you clean the screen and
certainly don't touch it with your fingers as you will certainly leave
finger prints. Its a good idea to wash them with only warm soapy water
since they are just plastic. Alcohol might actually soften them and is
not recommended.
