It's worse than that.  Until very recently (maybe 2-3 years ago) sheep
from the north of England were still picking up enough radioactive
isotopes from Chernobyl fallout on the local grass to make them unfit
for human consumption.  For the final few months of their life they
would be sent south to uncontaminated places like the Cotswolds to
flush them out of their guts.

So there's earthy and there's clickclickclickclick.
