According to Answers.com, there are towns or cities named "Pittsburgh"
(with the 'h') in 23 states.
There are also 32 towns or cities named "Pittsburg" (without the 'h').
California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma,
Pennsylvania and Tennessee each have at least two of them.
Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South
Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and
Wyoming don't have any.
I didn't try to count how many of either there might be in Canada
