Surely, that flash duration helped the shake reduction.

Best use a carbon fiber rather than a metal tripod. 8(

Not thrilled with my first attempt at post-processing this difficult
image, but gonna share anyway.

This image is a pretty decent example of what Pentax's Shake Reduction
can do, as it was handheld at 1/6 second. In the future, I'm resolved
to take the time and put the camera on a tripod so I can use a lower
ISO (which also would permit longer shutter speeds increasing
opportunities to capture lightning).
