Hi,

Having finally got some time to take more than the odd picture,
I discover a problem with my LX, recently (in terms of films
used but not time) serviced.

Using A or shutter speeds lower than X, the mirror locks up and
the shutter stays open. Viewfinder LEDs do not flicker and
changing batteries does not change the behaviour. It _seems_
that the batteries are losing power during storage, also. This
may be due to me not noticing the syndrome at first and leaving
the camera with mirror up and shutter open. Same effect with
different lenses. To my embarrassment, I first noticed this
problem some months ago but did not realise how serious it was.

It seems to me that the electro part of the shutter is not
getting a "close" signal. I assume this is a problem created
during the servicing.

It is _not_ "normal" sticky mirror or flat batteries.

Anyone got any other ideas?
