  Well, it does bother me, as I used to work with 14 rolls capacity

  I always used a simple bowl filled with ~40 celsius water to keep
  the temperature of the developer baths constant. It worked for me,
  the drop in temperature was negligible - around a third of degree.

  Not at all. A full round takes less than an hour. The truly critical
  step is the first development. Just make sure you pre-warm to 38
  celsius the film and developer and stir constantly. Consistency in
  this phase is the only trick.
