Shooting with the 77mm f/1.8 Limited at the Shoot-In. Move back far
enough to compose the shot & someone (several someones) jumps in front
of you.

I did get a few shots, if not the shots I necessarily wanted.

The model is that little spot of pink makeup & an ear.

Oh, well ... next year I'll take the 43mm f/1.9 Limited & see how that
works out.

Interesting angle and composition.

Thanks.

One of the drawbacks of the "shoot-in" format is you're fighting tooth &
claw to get a shot. Sometimes it's worse than "black Friday" at Walmart.

I try to wait patiently in line until it's my turn, but all too
frequently by the time I get to the front, they want to yank the model
to change the set or circulate the models around the room. I'm so
hurried, I have to grab what I can get instead of what I want.

Tonight was even worse because I wanted to shoot with the 77 Limited on
my K-3 and if I got far enough back for a full length shot, I'd end up
with a dozen people pushing in front of me.
