I'm about ready to buy a set of variable contrast filters to use above the lens in the Beseler condenser enlarger, and Ilford filters seem like a good choice. Does anyone have any comments about the Ilford filters, or suggestions on alternative choices.
The Ilford filters come in 6" x 6" squares, which are about 1/2-inch to large for the Beseler. Are they easy to trim?
